This year’s Gala is set to be an unforgettable evening, hosted at the elegant The Club, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama! It’s the perfect opportunity to dress to impress, indulge in a night of celebration, and support a meaningful cause. Join us for a delightful evening featuring a LIVE auction (new this year!), silent auction, fun games, delicious food and drinks, live entertainment, and inspiring speeches—all to benefit the Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund.

About the night: 

•  Cocktail Attire Required: Come dressed in your finest.

• General Admission Begins at 6:00 PM: Sip on cocktails, browse the silent auction, and enjoy appetizers before dinner.

• Three-Course Meal: Dinner begins promptly at 7:00 PM, followed by our inspiring Keynote Speakers.

• Live Auction: For the first time, we are welcoming Soldx3 Benefit Solutions to host a live auction this year!

Dinner: All food and beverage from the night will be catered by The Club, Inc. and include: (1) Garden Salad (blend of romaine, carrots & radicchio with cucumbers, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, croutons with ranch & balsamic dressing), (2) Parmesan Crusted Chicken, served with garlic and parmesan scalloped potatoes, roasted baby carrots, pesto puree, lemon caper butter sauce & parmesan cheese (3) Choice of Ultimate Chocolate Cake & Red Velvet Cake. Service also includes ice water, iced tea, orange rolls, yeast rolls, butter, and coffee.

Keynote Speakers/Featured Guests: Our current lineup of featured guests include Dr. Charles Cox, Dr. Matthew Harting & Dr. Natalie Drucker from Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX! These surgeons were a part of Eden's core group of doctors during her time in Houston, and we are more than thankful that they are willing to fly out with their busy schedule to attend the ECCF Gala! Please give them a warm Alabama welcome! Our first Keynote Speaker this year will be will be Lexie Calhoun, President of the Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund and Eden's Mom. Our second Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Charles Cox, Jr. He is the George and Cynthia Mitchell Distinguished Chair in Neurosciences and directs the Pediatric Surgical Translational Laboratories and Pediatric Program in Regenerative Medicine at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). He also directs the Pediatric Trauma Program at UTHealth/Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center. Most importantly, he was one of Eden's main surgeons in Houston! We are blessed to have him come speak this year.
