The Swartz Family

Hear Clara's story and the impact that ECCF had on their journey

Josh and Tori Swartz share the powerful story of their daughter, Clara, who was diagnosed in utero with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and faced critical, life-threatening challenges at birth. Their journey reflects immense faith, resilience, and hope during one of the most difficult seasons a family can endure.

Through the support of the Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund (ECCF) and its Monthly Relocation Grant Program, the Swartz family received vital financial assistance that helped ease the burden of medical travel and relocation during Clara’s treatment. This support allowed them to remain focused on their daughter’s care while staying connected as a family throughout her NICU journey.

The Eden Calhoun Charitable Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting families across the United States who have infants diagnosed with CDH. Founded in loving memory of Eden Calhoun, who passed away in 2022 from complications of CDH, ECCF exists to honor her legacy by supporting families walking a similar path.

100% of donations go directly toward helping families in need.
