Initial Backstory

"We are family of three with our 9 years old son. Usman is our second son. We found out about his condition in our 20week anatomy scan (at 22 week). He is LCDH with stomach, spleen small and large bowels up with 50-56% of his left lung looks good on MRI images. We are relocating from Dallas Texas to Houston Texas because of Dr Hartings team next week when I'll be 32 week pregnant. We are hoping believing for positive outcomes once Usman is born since doctors don't see any other abnormalities for now. We are truly appreciate for ECCF grant! We will be using it for our needs ( housing, food etc.) during our stay in Houston before and after our baby boy is born. We don't have any family/friends in Houston."

Update 6/2/2026

"We relocated with my husband last week to Houston - Ronald Macdonald House. Sent our other son to another country to his grandparents since he's in his summer vacation. We didn't want him to spend his summer around hospital visits. I'll be delivering our CDHer late june. Until then we are here for weekly check ups as our cdh team requested."

Update 7/1/2026

"My induction is next week! I'm 37 week pregnant today !!! So so grateful and happy that I came so far. Staying at Ronald McDonald House ( Houston, Texas)"
