Update 11/1/24
Hi there we are the Millan family we relocated to Houston Texas from Rockford Illinois , we are a family of 4 soon to be 5 with our new addition “blessed to be a girl mom” Evianna 16 Eyvah 10 & Emilany should be here 3d week of December , a little back story , my fiance & I got pregnant in Sept of 2023 we shortly after found out it was an ectopic pregnancy , we were devastated but knew God was with us every step of the way we waited and tried again 6 months later & we were exited to find out we were expecting again , at our 20 week anatomy scan they told us it looked like our baby had LCDH and that it was severe , with a heavy heart we researched & had a consult at lauries childrens in Chicago then second opinion st UW Wisconsin where a surgeon we met told us that Houston had the best Drs and that I could be a candidate for the FETO procedure ,it sounded scary and came with alot of risk but decided it would give our Emi the best chance at survival , we relocated on Oct 5th and had the procedure done Oct 8th im 31 weeks today Nov 1st and with Gods grace and alot of Prayers her lung has grown so much Drs are amazed at how well shes doing I will have the fetal ballon removed Nov 22nd and the plan is to be induced third week of December , we are so grateful for the Eden Calhoun grant since I had to stop working so early & my employer doesnt offer maternity leave it is going to help my family by allowing me to keep paying on my car loan, bills & gas while my fiance tries to cover our mortgage and expenses back home we are for ever grateful .
Update 11/25/24
Update for this month ,I had the feto procedure on Nov 22nd to have the balloon removed from Emilany’s trachea ,thankfully it went well and Emis lungs are continuing to grow and develop , they have already grown more than 50% & I am set to be induced the 3d week of December if she doesn’t come on her own sooner.
